Prawns are just as popular in Stockholm as Gothenburg, and even in Stockholm you can take a prawn boat out into the Stockholm archipelago. On board there will be a shrimp chill and you will eat as much shrimp as you can handle.
Take the opportunity to take a shrimp cruise during your visit to Stockholm. During the cruise from Stockholm, you pass several beautiful places in the Stockholm archipelago. There will be a stop at Vaxholms Kastell where you can get off for a short while. Don't forget to go out on deck for a while too. A little fresh sea air does the trick. Leaving Stockholm in the evening for a Räkkrysning is really cozy and good. You get a table on board and there you are served prawns. When the bowl is empty, a new one comes in. Accessories such as sauces, bread and whipped Västerbotten butter are served.
Outside the window passes Stockholm's beautiful archipelago. There will be a stop at Vaxholm Castle where you can get off for a short while. When the shrimp boat goes back to Stockholm, you can order coffee and dessert or something to drink from the bar. This dish is really something to treat yourself and your friends to. If you have room for something more, you can order coffee and dessert on the way back as a cozy end to the shrimp cruise.
