The Paradox Museum is located right in central Stockholm at Hötorget. This is no ordinary museum where you walk around and look at things, but here you get a completely different experience. Your brain will be amazed and your eyes will be tricked by over 70 paradox exhibits.
What does paradox mean?
The word paradox is synonymous with the word contradictory. That is, something that appears to be impossible or unreasonable. Basically, real paradoxes are things that, if they're true, are false, and if they're false, they're true - they make you think again. This is exactly how dizzying and confusing it will be for you when you visit Paradox Museum Stockholm.
Paradox Museum Stockholm has 2 types of paradox exhibitions
All exhibits at the Paradox Museum are designed to make you think again. You will ask yourself questions like... Could it be true? Am I seeing right? I have to try! But how strange it looks! The museum has 2 different types of exhibitions:
Optical: clever and puzzling images or objects that trick you and confuse what your eyes see and/or what your brain perceives.
Interactive: astonishing installations or entire rooms that challenge all your senses in that what you see or experience is not always completely true.
